Scrumptious Chocolate Smoothie

Welcome back, my dear Raffies!

I have been into experimenting with smoothies, preferring the ones with berries. My husband, who is not a big fan of fruits in general, has been complaining about the lack of chocolate lately, therefore I decided to create a chocolate overflow smoothie for him.


Ingredients:
2 chilled bananas
½ c Greek yoghurt
1/3 c cocoa powder
honey for sweetness (optional)
almond milk to thin it down
ice-cream (optional)
For the overflow
Nutella
Dulce de Leche
Whipped cream (optional)
Chocolate chip cookie
Chocolate chips
Chocolate sauce

Mix the ingredients – apart from the ice cream – in a blender and blend. If your mixture is too thick, add some almond milk to thin it down. Adjust with honey if you prefer a sweeter taste.

Prepare a big jar. Spread the Nutella and the Dulce de Leche on the inside of the jar, also spread quite a bit around the top to give the impression you spilled the content.

Now pour your smoothie into the jar. Add ice-cream and fill it to the rim. If you would like to, top with whipped cream. Due to a slight lactose intolerance and my dislike for cream, I skipped this step. Add some more Nutella on top and decorate with your cookie, the chocolate chips, chocolate sauce or anything else you would like to add.
